Job Description
Reporting to the Maintenance and Operations Department, Landscape Maintenance Attendants play a key role in the success of operations as well as in the creation and upkeep of outdoor spaces. As a Landscape Maintenance Attendant, you will actively contribute to maintaining the beauty and health of green spaces across the port territory.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns and maintaining hedges, trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
- Weed and water flowers.
- Ensure the general cleanliness of the grounds.
- Inform your supervisor of any required work on grassed areas, such as mowing, soil fertilization, and weed control.
- Clean and maintain various tools and equipment used for landscaping, as well as the assigned truck.
- Carry out painting work on the port territory.
- Assist the maintenance team with various tasks.
- Perform any other related duties.
Desired Profile
- Experience in the field and/or studies related to landscaping (an asset).
- Class 5 driver’s license.
- Strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Enjoy working outdoors.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a changing environment.
- Ability to alternate between multiple tasks.
- Team spirit.
