Quality Tree Service is currently seeking seeking a reliable, safety-minded individual to join our team as an Arborist. Reporting to the General Manager, this hands-on role supports tree trimming, vegetation management and line-clearing for our clients. The successful candidate will be comfortable working outdoors in all conditions, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years’ experience as a Certified Arborist;
- Minimum Grade 12 education, or equivalent;
- Valid Working at Heights training;
- Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace for the protection of employees and the general public;
- Climbing experience that includes removals and pruning;
- Must have experience operating dump trucks, wood chippers and chainsaws;
- G Class Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract; DZ license is not required, but considered an asset;
- Experience with operating a boom/aerial lift and, hydro line clearing certification considered assets
