Duties
- Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Conduct repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, doors, windows, and fixtures to ensure optimal operation
- Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of machinery and infrastructure
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe by following proper safety protocols and procedures
- Support special projects such as installations, upgrades, or renovations as needed
Experience
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a similar hands-on role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems is highly desirable
- Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement effective solutions
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with safety standards and procedures related to facility maintenance
- Prior experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment is a plus
