Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations. This role requires a proactive approach to prevent downtime and maintain a safe, efficient work environment. The Maintenance Technician plays a vital part in supporting the overall productivity and safety of our operations.
Please note this position is required to start in August
Duties
- Physical installation of conveyor sections
- Mechanical assembly and internal conveyor electrical connections
- Setting conveyor heights and clearancesAnchoring equipment in place
- Reassembly of sorter sections as required
Requirements
- Lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
- Be familiar with assembling structural steel frames, routing belts/chains, setting up drive pulleys, and mechanical alignment
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and torque wrenchesWork a minimum of 8 hours per day in an industrial environment
- Have safety boots and an industrial helmet
- Be onsite as requested by our supervisors
