Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaner/Team Leader to oversee cleaning operations within commercial facilities. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness, supervising cleaning staff, and ensuring the efficient operation of cleaning and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, leadership qualities, and a commitment to maintaining safe and hygienic environments.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards.
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and other common areas
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and upkeep to ensure optimal facility operation
- Develop cleaning schedules and assign duties to team members accordingly
- Monitor the quality of work performed by team members and provide training or feedback as needed
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper use of cleaning equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and health regulations during all cleaning activities
- Report any facility issues or safety hazards to management promptly Experience
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a cleaning or maintenance environment is a plus
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while leading a team effectively

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
