Experience in sales, customer service, banking, insurance, real estate, teaching, coaching, tax preparation, immigration consulting, management, or entrepreneurship can translate well into this role, but it is not required.
Compensation
This is a commission-based independent contractor opportunity. There is no base salary or hourly wage.
Commissions may be earned only after the required licensing, contracting, and compliance steps have been completed, and only when eligible business is submitted, approved, issued, and paid according to applicable company and product-provider rules.
Earnings are not guaranteed and vary based on licensing status, activity level, client needs, product suitability, approved business, persistency, and compliance requirements.
Full compensation details will be reviewed during the selection process so candidates understand the structure before proceeding.
Licensing and Onboarding
Before conducting insurance business, candidates must complete applicable licensing, onboarding, contracting, and compliance requirements. Specific requirements depend on province and company procedure.
