Fibre Splicers - Outside Plant Technicians. We are looking for our Brampton /Mono location.
Applicants must be able to provide;
- skilled in outside plant fibre splicing (2 years telecommunications splicing experience)
- Experience in multi-dwelling units is an asset
- Must be able to work on-call schedule when required (approx 3X per year)
- Must be able to work up to 10 hour shifts per day plus travel time
- A strong commitment to safety
- Good work ethic
- Pass a criminal record check
- A valid G driver’s license in good standing
- Experience to safely lift heavy objects and tools to perform a variety of tasks
- Experience carrying and climbing an extension ladder
- Experience working in confined spaces
- Good organization skills
- Have certificates in Working at heights, confined spaces and first aid is an asset
- Work well individually and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours and locations
- Willingness to Travel as required
- Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
- Must be willing to join Liuna Union Local 183
