Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations.
- Provide attentive customer service by checking on guests regularly, addressing their needs promptly, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality.
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff at all times.
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred to ensure familiarity with service standards.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order entry and cash handling.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions, change calculation, and order management.
- Experience in serving or bartending roles that demonstrate hospitality expertise and professionalism.
