Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Flatbed Roll-Off DZ Driver to join our team. This role involves operating flatbed trucks equipped with roll-off containers to transport waste and materials efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, physical strength for heavy lifting, and a commitment to safety standards. Duties
- Safely operate flatbed trucks with roll-off containers to pick up and deliver waste or materials to designated sites
- Load and unload containers, ensuring secure placement for transportation
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to handle containers and materials during loading and unloading processes
- Conduct routine safety inspections of the vehicle before and after shifts
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules and any issues encountered during routes
Requirements
- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating flatbed trucks or similar commercial vehicles with roll-off capabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Ability to work independently in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills for coordination with team members and dispatchers
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of loading, unloading, and long hours on the road
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
