Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Immigration Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance on immigration processes, assist clients with documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, multiple language proficiency in English, French, Punjabi, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. The Immigration Consultant will play a vital role in helping clients navigate complex immigration procedures while delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Advise clients on immigration options and legal requirements, ensuring they understand the process clearly
- Prepare, review, and submit immigration applications and supporting documents accurately and timely
- Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions, application statuses, and relevant documentation using databases and records management systems
- Manage client communications through various channels including email, phone calls, and in-person meetings
- Conduct analysis of client cases to determine eligibility and recommend appropriate courses of action
- Coordinate with government agencies, legal teams, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth processing of applications
- Develop and deliver presentations or informational sessions for clients or internal teams
- Utilize project management tools such as Microsoft Project and SharePoint to track case progress and deadlines
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, procurement, data entry, and records organization to support operational efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience in immigration consulting or related administrative roles involving client advisement and document processing
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and SharePoint
- Familiarity with databases, records management systems, and document filing procedures
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French; bilingual ability is highly preferred
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Experience in project management or leadership roles is advantageous
- Exceptional analysis skills for evaluating client eligibility and case complexities
- Prior customer service experience is desirable to ensure client satisfaction throughout the process
