Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server Assistant to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will support the serving staff by ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately
- Clear tables and reset dining areas efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests
- Prepare and set up dining stations, including food presentation and utensil placement
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Handle food safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations
- Manage POS systems for order processing and cash handling with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service flow
- Provide guest services by answering questions about menu items and restaurant policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest interactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food preparation, cashiering, or barista duties is a plus
- Basic kitchen experience and understanding of meal preparation are advantageous
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings if needed

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
