About the Role: Killer Ice Cream is a high-volume, premium shop in the heart of Kitsilano/ Point Grey, close to Jericho Beach. We have just completed a restructuring and are looking for a dedicated, career-minded professional to join our core leadership team. This isn’t just a scooping job—this is a role for someone who wants to run the floor, mentor staff, and eventually take over day-to-day operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Deep Foodservice Roots: You have 3+ years of experience in high-volume environments (Barista or ice cream shop experience is a major asset).
- The "Owner" Mindset: You don't wait to be told what to do. You see a problem, you solve it, and you protect the shop’s standards as if they were your own.
- Reliability is Your Religion: You understand that in a small business, leadership means being the anchor. You prioritize the team’s needs and show up ready to lead.
- Management Aspirations: You are looking to move beyond "front line" work and into scheduling, inventory, and staff management.
Requirements:
- Available for Full-Time hours, including weekends (Saturday/Sunday availability is non-negotiable).
- Strong communication skills (fluent, advanced English language skills)
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures.
- Polished, family-friendly appearance and demeanour.
- Foodsafe Level 1 certificate
- Can confidently use machinery like espresso machine and milk steamer, willing to train to use fruit chopping machine and even ice cream churning machine.

Pay: $17.85-$25.00 per hour
