Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Depot Processor to join our team. Reporting to the Depot Manager and Supervisor, our Processing Team Members keep recyclable waste out of the landfills, safely process materials for re-use, and transport materials efficiently and responsibly. This is an exciting and unique job opportunity for a self-motivated, conscientious person who thrives in a fast-paced and physical environment. Our ideal candidate will have a strong sense of awareness and enjoy completing a variety of different tasks as part of a supportive team. We find that applicants with years of team sports experience fit well into our current team environment. As part of the Squamish Depot Team, successful candidates will support the company's mission to contribute to the green economy in BC, as well as support Canada’s commitments on climate change.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Demonstrate precise processing and material handling abilities.
- Record accurate counts of products coming in and provide refund receipts to our customers.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer any customer questions.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Follow all health & safety guidelines and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive company culture that promotes growth and continuous learning.
- Keep the depot clean and organized.
- Provide information regarding which deposited containers are accepted.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
