About the Role
If you are skilled in electronics, mechanics, or mechatronics and comfortable working with software and control systems, this role is perfect for you. You will install and service industrial food-processing systems, troubleshoot complex technical issues, work directly with customers, and organize your service activities with autonomy.
What You Will Do
● Support existing customers by analyzing work orders, planning service routes, investigating issues, running tests, and resolving problems.
● Install new systems by reviewing requirements, assembling components, performing electrical wiring, carrying out start-up, and completing acceptance tests.
● Provide excellent customer service with professional troubleshooting, process advice, and on-site support.
● Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose breakdowns, replace parts, and ensure equipment uptime.
● Document all service and installation work in reports, logs, and forms.
● Maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and reliable follow-up.
● Keep your knowledge up to date through training and continuous learning.
● Support operational and administrative tasks when needed.
Qualifications
● Two-year Electro-Mechanical Technician diploma or equivalent experience.
● Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
● Solid troubleshooting ability and technical problem-solving skills.
● Ability to analyze technical data.
● Understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system integration.
● Ability to read electrical schematics and perform wiring work.
● Comfortable using hand and power tools.
● Able to work at height.
● Excellent communication and attention to detail.
● Strong customer service orientation.
● Ability to work independently and within a team.
● Willingness to travel within Canada and the USA.
● Ability to work extended hours when required.
● Valid driver’s license.
● Eligible to work in Canada.
Ability to travel to the U.S. is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
