Air Hair Salon is one of downtown Vancouver's most trusted Japanese & Korean hair salons. Our stylists trained in top salons across Japan and Korea, and we've built our reputation on precision haircuts, dimensional color, modern perm techniques, and advanced scalp and hair treatments — all inspired by modern Asian trends.
Now we're bringing that same expertise to Main Street, and we're looking for talented stylists to be part of our founding team.

Duties
- Deliver a range of hair services including precision cuts, coloring, digital/setting/straight perms, treatments, and blowouts.
- Provide thorough consultations tailored to each client's hair texture, face shape, and lifestyle.
- Help shape the new salon's client experience and day-to-day flow as a founding team member.
- Keep your station and shared spaces clean, sanitized, and guest-ready.
- Contribute to the salon's social media presence by sharing your transformations and engaging with our community.
- Participate and engage in ongoing training and team education sessions.
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques to provide innovative services.
Qualifications
- Licensed/certified hairstylist with 7+ years of salon experience (cutting, coloring, and styling)
- Experience or strong interest in Japanese/Korean techniques
- A team-first attitude and excellent client communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage a full appointment book
- Passion for continuous learning and growth
- English language fluency
- Bonus (not required): fluency in Japanese/Korean
