Senior Accounting Professional / Bookkeeper/ Office Manager needed. Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking an Accounting Graduate with a 2-year Accounting Diploma from a Canadian Education institution and minimum 3-5 years of minimum accounting experience to join our team at a long-established equipment dealer, located in Acheson Business Park , west of Edmonton.
Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting duties, including (but not limited to):
o Accounts Payable and Receivable
o Payroll (outsourced)
o General Ledger management
o Monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet account
o Preparation of monthly financial statements
o Preparation of year-end closing activities in preparation for external audit
o Work with owner principle and managers for reporting and budgeting purposes
- Successful candidates must have very strong communications skills.
- Accounting diploma is minimum requirement.
Requirements
- Must possess a good command of written and spoken English. Knowledge of the DIS Accounting & Inventory System would be an asset but not required.
