We are seeking a skilled Electrician/Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs.
Industry: Liquid-filling, Batching, & Blow Molding
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing equipment.
- Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
- Performs inspection, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and air systems.
- Observes/listens and communicates with the machine operator to diagnose and troubleshoot machine malfunction and determine need for adjustment or repair.
- Dismantles machine or equipment to examine parts for defects or to remove defective parts.
- Replaces defective parts with new part or repairs or reproduces part from various kinds of metal stock if possible and safe.
- Follow all equipment service policies and procedures to ensure safety, reliability, and accuracy.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
- Maintain a daily update of the PM log and any other documentation required by the company’s policies and procedures.
- Maintain and be accountable for all company-owned tools and equipment including returning to proper storage location when done.
- Teach operators how to recognize problems before they result in an equipment malfunction.
- Be a critical element on the production line and machinery sets up every day.
- Maintain updated daily a communication log with other mechanic and management.
- Follow all safety protocols to work on an equipment (Lock out), as well as cleaning.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Electrician/Millwright
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and techniques
- Proficiency in electrical systems and low/high voltage work
- Welding experience for stainless metal repairs
- Knowledge of industrial machinery maintenance practices
- Ability to analyze equipment performance and make recommendations for enhancements
Two Week Rotation of Days and Afternoons: 7:00am to 4:00pm and 4:00pm to 1:00am

Pay: $42.00-$46.00 per hour
