Parlee McLaws LLP has an opening for a Litigation Associate with 6 – 8 years of experience to join our dynamic litigation group in our downtown Edmonton office. Our firm has a rich history of providing exceptional legal services to our clients for well over a century, and we are excited welcome a dedicated and talented individual to our team.
We are seeking a candidate with specific experience and interest in handling general litigation matters, as well as property, personal injury, and other liability insured matters.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Current, active member in good standing with the Alberta Law Society
- Experience with insurance clients, reporting, conducting Questionings, and independent file load / management
- Solid oral and written advocacy skills and experience
- Clear and effective communication
- Commitment to managing work and client relationships
- Commitment to working with our team and to building strong internal and external relationships
- Court experience
