Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner for overnight shifts in Keswick. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at one commercial facility. We are looking for either one person for 4 hours each or two cleaners for 2 hours each night, 7 days a week. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and professional environment for staff and visitors. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of commercial spaces while working during overnight hours.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as trash removal, floor care, and surface disinfecting
- Maintain cleaning schedules and document completed tasks accurately
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Follow health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure all areas are fully equipped for daily operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Reliable, punctual, and able to adhere to scheduled shifts
- Ability to lift light to moderate loads and stand for extended periods during cleaning tasks
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
