Truly Nolen Pest Control is looking for a Commercial Pest Control Technician to join our growing team in HRM.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, building strong customer relationships, and taking pride in quality service. As a Commercial Pest Control Technician, you will help businesses maintain safe, clean, and pest-free environments through inspection, prevention, treatment, and ongoing service.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, and comfortable working in a hands-on service role with a strong focus on customer care.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect commercial properties for pest activity, evidence, sanitation concerns, and potential entry points
- Identify pest issues and recommend practical corrective actions
- Apply treatments including insecticides, baits, traps, monitoring devices, and exclusion methods
- Educate clients on prevention strategies, sanitation improvements, and pest-reduction practices
- Maintain service equipment, company vehicle, tools, and supplies
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation
- Build positive working relationships with clients and team members
- Follow company procedures, safety standards, and pesticide label requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of commercial pest control experience preferred
- Valid Pesticide Applicator / Core License preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean and insurable driving record
- Demonstrated knowledge of core trade practices and basic tools
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting, bending, crawling, ladder work, and working in tight spaces
- Professional, dependable, and organized
