We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Autobody Technician with estimating experience to join our busy collision repair team.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, can work independently, and understands the full repair process from estimate review to final fit and finish. We are offering a sign-on bonus paid in stages, along with a shared recruitment bonus.
Responsibilities
· Complete high-quality collision repairs according to industry standards.
· Review estimates and repair plans before beginning work.
· Identify missed damage, required supplements, and repair changes.
· Work with estimators, parts staff, and production management to keep repairs moving efficiently.
· Perform structural, panel, metal, plastic, and body repairs.
· Remove, repair, replace, and align damaged parts.
· Ensure repairs are completed safely, properly, and on time.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Follow OEM repair procedures and shop safety standards.
Requirements
· Journeyman Autobody Technician certification.
· Collision repair experience in a professional autobody shop.
· Estimating experience is required.
· Ability to read, understand, and work from repair estimates.
· Strong ability to identify missed damage and communicate supplement needs.
· Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Valid driver’s licence.

You are an experienced body technician who knows how to repair vehicles properly, spot issues in estimates, and communicate clearly with the team. You understand that good repairs start with good planning, and you take responsibility for doing the job right the first time.
