Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and bring outdoor spaces to life with your energy and skill! In this role, you will be assisting us build high end outdoor spaces, such as retaining walls, paver patio’s, concrete, laying sod and turf, placing decorative rock, and building relationships with clients!
Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation, including pavers, concrete, fencing, sod, turf, grading, retaining walls.
- Operate equipment such as skid steers for site preparation and grading tasks
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and health of plants
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks like mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces pristine
- Use hand tools and power tools safely for various construction and repair projects within the landscape environment
- Conduct general site cleanup and debris removal to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal
- Support horticultural activities by applying gardening techniques and understanding plant care needs
Requirements
- Prior experience with construction or landscaping is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating equipment such as excavators is a plus
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, gardening practices, and horticulture principles is advantageous
- Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools safely and effectively
- Basic understanding of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, trimming, and planting
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects as needed
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward safety and quality
COMENSATION:
24-32/hr. +overtime Based on experience.
Will have opportunity to move up to foreman fast as we’re a growing team. Foreman get company trucks!
