Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused servers to join our team. Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and efficiency
- Refill food condiments when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with health regulations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy hours
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
- Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols as part of daily responsibilities
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to speak and write both English and Chinese (Cantonese) is required due to lots of clientele interacting in Cantonese
- Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally
- Able to physically lift and transfer heavy items (food, chairs, tables), and stand/walk for majority of shift
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
