Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes with attention to quality, safety, and presentation. This role requires a passion for food preparation and excellent food service skills to ensure a satisfying dining experience for our guests. The Breakfast Cook will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness while delivering delicious breakfast options.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or needs
- Serve breakfast dishes promptly to ensure timely service for guests
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially in a restaurant or kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques specific to breakfast dishes
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work morning shifts, including weekends if necessary
- Food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory for motivated candidates willing to learn
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
