About the Role:
As a Full-Time Intermediate Accountant / Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both the accounting and operational functions of our college. Responsibilities include:
Accounting Duties:
· Prepare corporate (T2) and personal (T1) tax returns
· Manage GST filings and ensure compliance
· Process payroll accurately and on time
· Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
· Reconcile bank statements and assist in month-end closing
· Maintain accurate financial records and reporting
· Utilize accounting software such as Sage, or QuickBooks
· Assist with financial audits and prepare financial reports
Administrative & College Operations:
· Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries professionally
· Assist students and instructors with day-to-day needs
· Close the college facility at the end of each day
· Support overall administrative functions and front desk operations
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM

Required Qualifications:
· 2–3 years of experience with corporate and personal tax returns
· Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
· Familiarity with corporate finance principles and practices
· Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role
· Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
· Solid understanding of AP/AR processes
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Client-focused approach with a dedication to quality service
