As we continue to grow, we are looking for a results-driven Talent Lead to help strengthen and scale our national merchandising workforce.
This is a 3-month, full-time, on-site contract for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and enjoys building systems that drive measurable results.
Objectives of the role:
- Strengthening field recruitment across Canada
- Increasing geographic coverage and workforce capacity
- Improving speed-to-fill performance
- Mentoring and supporting our internal recruiter
- Introducing modern sourcing and automation strategies
- Building a sustainable and repeatable recruitment process
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for merchandising roles across Canada
- Build regional talent pools and ongoing pipelines
- Prioritizing high-demand markets
- Ensure fast candidate turnaround and placements
- Review and improve current recruitment workflows
- Implement multi-channel sourcing strategies
- Introduce AI or automation tools where appropriate
- Develop dashboards, hiring metrics, and SOPs
- Increase hiring speed and fill rates
- Improve offer acceptance and retention
- Establish hiring service levels with stakeholders
- Coach and support our internal recruiter
- Improve conversations and screening processes
- Transfer knowledge and systems before project completion
What You Bring
- 5+ years of high-volume or distributed workforce recruiting
- Experience in retail, field, gig, or hourly environments
- Strong operational and data-driven mindset
- Comfortable leading change and improving processes
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
