About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Analyst with a blend of software development and data analysis experience to support our client's technology initiatives. This role is ideal for a candidate who is comfortable writing production-quality Python code, analyzing and interpreting data to drive decisions, and collaborating across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based scripts, tools, and applications to support business and technical processes.
- Analyze data sets to identify trends, generate insights, and support reporting and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support integration, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Document technical solutions, processes, and analysis findings clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across applications and data pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a software development and/or data analyst role.
- Strong proficiency in Python (scripting, automation, data manipulation).
- Solid understanding of data analysis concepts and tools (e.g., Pandas, SQL querying, Excel).
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, collaborative team environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- PL/SQL development experience.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing/deployment).
- Microsoft Power Apps / Power Platform experience.
- Experience in a consulting or client-facing environment.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
