Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in kitchen operations, food preparation, specialized in continental food (Steak, Pasta, etc.). Experience with breakfast menu is preferred.
Duties:
-Cook:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipe specifications
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet restaurant standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to kitchen manager
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Cook and plate food items accurately and efficiently during service
- Follow portion control, presentation, and food quality standards
- Communicate with other team members and kitchen staff
- Clean up station and assist with closing duties
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Experience with cooking steaks and grill items
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
