About the Role
Pentco Industries is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Door Painter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, priming, sanding, and painting cabinet doors and components while maintaining high-quality finishing standards, productivity targets, and workplace safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cabinet doors and components for paint application
- Sand raw, primed, and painted surfaces using manual and machine sanding equipment
- Apply primer and paint using spray guns and finishing equipment
- Inspect finished products for defects, consistency, and quality standards
- Perform touch-ups and rework when required
- Follow production schedules and daily priorities
- Maintain paint equipment, spray booths, and work area cleanliness
- Mix paints and coatings according to specifications
- Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Work closely with Customer Service, Production, and Shipping teams
- Record production information and material usage when required
- Assist with continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- 2+ years of cabinet or wood finishing experience
- Knowledge of primers, paints, and finishing processes
- Experience using spray guns and paint equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to identify finishing defects and perform corrective actions
- Ability to lift 15 KG materials and stand for extended periods
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Experience with sanding equipment and finishing lines is an asset
- Understanding of workplace safety and PPE requirements

Salary Range
Expected range:
$24 – $27 per hour, depending on skill level
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
