Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated French-speaking Caregiver to provide high-quality support to clients in their homes or care facilities. This immediate-start position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care such as dementia or hospice support. The ideal candidate will be fluent in French and possess a strong background in patient care, assisted living, and home health services.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a respectful and caring environment
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable living space
- Support clients with mobility and transfer tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor and report on clients’ health status, changes in condition, or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia, hospice, or working with individuals with disabilities
Requirements
- Fluent in French with excellent communication skills in both spoken and written forms
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, home care, or hospice care preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, medication administration, and caregiving best practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support
- Strong organizational skills for medication management and meal preparation
- Compassionate attitude with patience and empathy for clients’ diverse needs
- Valid background check and ability to pass any required health screenings or training certifications
- Reliable transportation may be required depending on the assignment location

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
