We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This role requires mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Rotational Shifts: Days 7am - 3pm , Afternoon 3pm - 11pm, Nights 11pm - 7am ( must be flexible to work all shifts)
$19-$20/hour
Duties
- Pack finished products efficiently and securely according to company specifications
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing
- Assist with assembly of products when required
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes
- Perform general labor tasks including loading and unloading materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety protocols
- Document production activities accurately and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors
Qualifications
- 2+ years previous experience in manufacturing, production or quality is an asset
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds as needed
