Are you an experienced Cardiology Technologist looking to join a dynamic and supportive team? We are a family practice/specialist clinic in Langley who pride ourselves on providing exceptional cardiovascular care while fostering a collaborative environment among our skilled medical office assistants and specialist physicians.
As a Cardiology Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with patient diagnostics and contributing to comprehensive care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and performing exercise stress tests as requested by specialist physicians, and discussing results with them to generate comprehensive reports.
- Connecting and downloading data for 24-hour Holter monitors conducted in our office.
- Administering 12-lead ECGs for office patients efficiently and accurately.
- Maintenance of Holter monitor devices and exercise treadmill equipment.
- Scheduling and facilitating mock code blue practices with office staff on a semi-regular basis to ensure emergency preparedness.
- Regularly checking our defibrillator and ensuring that emergency cardiac medications are adequately stocked.
- Undertaking special projects related to cardiodiagnostics as directed by the clinic owner.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Relevant qualifications in cardiology technology or a related field.
- Experience in performing exercise stress tests and ECGs.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with physicians and patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining cardiology diagnostic equipment.
- A proactive approach to emergency preparedness and patient care.
