Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our residence. This position requires a minimum commitment of one day per week, with the specific day varying depending on your availability.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance duties, including, but not limited to, painting, minor repairs, basic carpentry, drywall installation and repair, flooring installation and repair, pond maintenance, and minor electrical and plumbing work. Any work requiring a licensed or certified tradesperson must be reported to the General Manager for appropriate follow-up.
- Move furniture and equipment as required to support operational needs.
- Clear snow and maintain safe access to walkways and entrances during winter months.
- Ensure all assigned work is completed efficiently and to standard.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Report any issues or repairs needed beyond assigned tasks.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in maintenance is required.
- Strong work ethic and respect for all assigned tasks.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Able to reliably commute to 1333 Rideau Ferry Rd, Perth, ON K7H 3C7.
- Complete required training during onboarding and annually as necessary.
