Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide personalized care and support for our daughter. This role involves assisting with daily activities, fostering a safe and nurturing environment, and promoting independence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving, working with children or individuals with disabilities, and experience in early childhood education or classroom settings. This is a full-time Live-in position that offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding and diaper change.
- Light housekeeping.
- Support daily routines such as meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks
- Engage clients in educational and recreational activities to promote cognitive and emotional well-being
- Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages independence and self-esteem
- Communicate effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and educators as needed
- Monitor health status and report any concerns promptly to appropriate parties.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children is highly desirable
- Background in caregiving, early childhood education, or classroom experience is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient care in a home setting
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices and safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
