About the Role
ACQBUILT is seeking an Assembler (Carpenter) to join the Walls Line team inside our factory. In this role, you will assemble prefabricated walls panels used in residential home construction.
Working as part of the Production Department, you will use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment to assemble wall systems according to company standards while maintaining safety and quality.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble wall panels and related components according to instructions and production schedules.
- Use hand tools, air tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols and workplace policies.
- Maintain quality control standards during assembly.
- Ensure required materials and supplies are available for production.
- Inform the team leader or supervisor of issues that may affect production.
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain 5S standards, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance practices in the work area.
- Assist with additional production duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Carpentry or construction experience is an asset.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Working Conditions
- Ability to push, pull, and move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to dust and high noise levels in a manufacturing environment.
- Manual dexterity required to operate tools and equipment.
- Overtime may be required.
