Job description
We are looking for a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to work weekends (Sat, Sun, and stat holidays if the store is open) starting toward the end of August. You may be scheduled at Turtle Bay IDA, Winfield IDA (Lake Country), or Dyck's Pharmacists in Glenmore. Average of 10-16 hours per week.
As a Pharmacy Assistant you will be responsible for processing and preparing prescriptions, assisting patients in person and over the phone, cashier duties, preparation of pill packs, preparing deliveries, ordering and inventory management, and assisting the Pharmacists with operations of the Pharmacy.
The successful candidate will have:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task
- Basic computer skills
- Problem solving skills
- Previous pharmacy experience strongly preferred
- Ability to reliably commute to Lake Country and Kelowna
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
