Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, providing personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and explain fragrance notes, benefits, and usage tips
- Assist clients in selecting perfumes that match their preferences and style, utilizing strong product knowledge
- Upsell complementary products such as makeup, skincare, or accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and receipt issuance
- Maintain organized stock displays, merchandise shelves, and ensure the store is visually appealing through effective merchandising
- Use social media management skills to promote new arrivals, special events, or promotions to attract more customers
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Support front desk operations by managing appointments or customer flow during busy periods
- Keep track of inventory levels using retail software systems like Millennium or salon-specific software to ensure stock availability
Requirements
- Previous experience in beauty & cosmetics sales, retail sales, or related customer service roles preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Millennium or similar retail software is highly desirable
- Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele effectively
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency enhances customer interactions
- Familiarity with cosmetology, makeup application, or fragrance knowledge is beneficial
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math tasks accurately
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for merchandising details and stock management
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Experience with social media management to engage customers online and promote store events or products
- A positive attitude with strong phone etiquette and customer service orientation
