Position Summary
The Chef de Partie (CDP) is responsible for the efficient and consistent preparation of menu items from their assigned station. This role plays a key part in delivering quality food and smooth service throughout the season.
We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, team-focused, and calm under pressure.
Experience cooking in a high volume professional setting is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes from the assigned station
- Maintain station organization, cleanliness, and readiness during service
- Follow recipes to ensure food quality and consistency
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Properly receive, store, and rotate food products
- Communicate professionally with kitchen and service teams to support efficient service and member satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional kitchen experience
- Strong understanding of safe, professional cooking practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, seasonal environment
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Required Certification
- Food Handler Certification
Assets (Preferred but Not Required)
- Post-secondary education in Culinary Arts
- Red Seal Certification
- Experience in a private club or similar hospitality environment
