Hours: -5am to 12pm
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area in a clean and organized manner
- Prepare and serve breakfast items such as coffee, tea, juice, pastries, and hot food items
- Ensure food is presented attractively and replenish items as needed
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Communicate any guest requests or issues to the appropriate department or supervisor
- Assist with banquet and catering services as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain inventory of breakfast supplies and place orders as necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate cash registers or POS systems
- Basic knife skills for food preparation
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
Note: This position may also require occasional delivery driver duties for catering events.
