Job Summary:
Wakefield is embarking on a major enterprise transformation through the implementation of a new ERP platform. We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain ERP Transformation Lead to serve as the primary business leader responsible for aligning end-to-end supply chain processes with the future-state ERP solution.
Reporting to Supply Chain leadership and working closely with IT, implementation partners, and business stakeholders, this individual will lead the supply chain workstream throughout the program lifecycle, from process design and requirements definition through testing, deployment, training, and post-go-live stabilization.
The successful candidate will bring deep expertise across the end-to-end supply chain including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, customer service and master data management. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that business requirements are translated into scalable/standardized processes that support future growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Program Leadership
- Act as the Supply Chain Business Lead for the ERP implementation program managing a team of 5 supply chain functional team members;
- Represent supply chain interests in project governance, design workshops, steering committees, and decision-making forums;
- Lead the development and validation of business requirements, process flows, and operating models;
- Partner with IT, implementation consultants, and functional leaders to ensure system capabilities align with business objectives;
- Support solution design, configuration reviews, testing activities, and deployment planning.
- Drive issue resolution and decision-making related to supply chain processes throughout the project lifecycle;
- Help define implementation priorities, cutover plans, and post-go-live support requirements;
End-to-End Supply Chain Process Design
- Lead the review, redesign, and standardization of supply chain processes across:
- Demand Planning & S&OP
- Procurement & Supplier Management
- Inventory Management
- Production Planning
- Warehouse Management
- Transportation & Logistics
- Order Fulfillment
- Master Data Governance
- Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, improve controls, and eliminate non-value-added activities;
- Ensure future-state processes are scalable, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices and business requirements;
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Coordinate activities across supply chain subject matter experts participating in the project;
- Facilitate collaboration between Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and IT teams (including external implementation partners);
- Build alignment around process decisions, operating standards, and system adoption priorities;
Testing, Readiness & Deployment
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for supply chain processes;
- Support test script development, execution, issue tracking, and resolution;
- Ensure business readiness through training, documentation, and knowledge transfer;
- Identify risks and gaps that could impact successful deployment and develop mitigation plans;
- Support go-live planning, cutover activities, and hypercare stabilization efforts;
Change Management & Training
- Champion change management initiatives across the supply chain organization;
- Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working;
- Develop training materials and support super-user development;
- Provide ongoing coaching and communication to stakeholders throughout the transformation journey;
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence;
Data & Governance
- Support the development of master data standards and governance processes;
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of supply chain data during migration and post-go-live operations;
- Participate in data cleansing, validation, and conversion activities;
- Establish key process controls and performance metrics required to support the future-state ERP environment;
Business Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and monitor critical supply chain performance metrics, including:
- Service Levels
- Inventory Turns
- Forecast Accuracy
- On-Time Delivery
- Transportation Efficiency
- Warehouse Productivity
- Cost to Serve
- Identify opportunities to improve service, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency;
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives resulting from ERP capabilities and process enhancements;
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Logistics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive supply chain experience with exposure to multiple functional areas;
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting a major ERP implementation, business transformation, or system deployment;
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and associated operational challenges;
- Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or complex supply chain environments;
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels;
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is considered a strong asset, but is not required;
- Bilingual (English and French) preferred;

- Office and manufacturing environment.
Salary Range - $80/hour - $95/hour
Contract Role – 18-24 months
