Open Range Home Partners is Calgary’s local home services provider committed to providing homeowners with a complete, data-driven, in-person approach to preventative home maintenance combined with home health and safety diagnostics. Our complete home care solution keeps your home safe, functional, and stress-free through proactive maintenance, education, and on-demand support.
We are seeking ambitious, personable, and self-driven university students interested in business, entrepreneurship, sales, or marketing to support our growth initiatives this summer.
This role is focused on building relationships, generating qualified opportunities, and expanding our presence in Calgary communities. You will work directly with the founder and gain hands-on experience in business development, customer engagement, and partnership building.
What You'll Do
- Engage homeowners through community outreach, networking, referrals, and follow-up communications
- Generate and schedule qualified homeowner consultations
- Develop relationships with local contractors, businesses, and referral partners
- Represent Open Range Home Partners professionally in the community
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, appointments, and partner meetings
- Support customer retention, referrals, and review generation
Who We're Looking For
- University or post-secondary students in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, professional, and comfortable initiating conversations
- Organized, self-motivated, and reliable
- Interested in entrepreneurship, business development, marketing, or sales
- Able to work independently and manage their own schedule
Compensation
This contract is designed to reward both initiative and results.
Base Compensation
- $18 per hour for approved outreach and business development activities
Weekly Performance Bonuses
- 10–24 qualified homeowner consultations booked and confirmed: $100 bonus
- 25+ qualified homeowner consultations booked and confirmed: $500 bonus
- $10 for each booked and confirmed contractor meeting
- $20 for each booked and confirmed partner meeting
Contract Completion Bonus
- Book 100+ qualified homeowner consultations during the contract term and receive an additional $1,000 performance bonus

Pay: $18.00-$36.00 per hour
