Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Counter Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to customers, managing transactions, and supporting various operational functions within our dealership or service center. Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally at the front counter
- Assist customers with inquiries, service scheduling, and product information
- Process purchases, returns, and payments efficiently
- Support procurement activities including sourcing and negotiation with vendors
- Maintain organized records of transactions and inventory levels
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of parts and supplies
- Utilize mechanical knowledge when assisting with product or equipment questions
- Operate forklifts or other equipment as needed (training provided)
- Use CMMS or demand planning tools to support operational workflows
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies
Experience
- Previous dealership experience is highly desirable but not mandatory
- Experience in data entry, purchasing, or procurement is preferred
- Background in customer service roles, especially within manufacturing, HVAC, or supply chain environments, is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with forklifts can be beneficial
- Strong negotiation skills and sourcing experience will be considered assets
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential for success in this role
- Must have 1-2years Bakery experience
Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
