If you are a handy, organized, and people-oriented problem solver who thrives in a dynamic environment, we’d love to meet you!
The Role
As the Assistant Building Manager / Caretaker, you will work closely with the Main Building Manager to ensure the property runs smoothly, looks immaculate, and remains secure. This is a Full-Time / Part-Time position.

- Cleaning & Upkeep: Keep common areas—including lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, and waste disposal areas—clean, tidy, and presentable.
- Tenant Relations: Act as a friendly contact point for resident inquiries, maintenance requests, and move-in/move-out reservations.
- Security & Emergencies: Monitor building security, conduct regular walkthroughs, and assist with after-hours emergencies on a rotational basis.
- Vendor Coordination: Assist with supervising external contractors (e.g., plumbers, electricians, landscapers) during on-site projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Experience in property management, building maintenance, caretaking, or a related trade is an asset.
- Skills: Strong "handyperson" skills and a solid understanding of building systems (heating, plumbing, electrical basics).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—you’ll be interacting with diverse residents daily.
- Reliability: A self-starter who can work independently, manage their time well, and handle unexpected situations calmly.
- Requirements: Must pass a background check. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
