Job Summary
We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at JK Schmidt Jewellers, a well-established family-owned jewellery store with 50 years of experience. Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits through effective product demos.
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain an organized sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
- Utilize basic math skills to handle cash transactions and provide change accurately.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to foster a positive shopping experience.
- Manage time efficiently to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining high-quality service.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries.
- Previous experience in sales or retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays as needed.
