- Recording Transactions: Recording daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses) in accounting software or spreadsheets.
- Reconciling Accounts: Comparing internal financial records against bank statements to ensure accuracy.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Managing, tracking, and paying bills owed to vendors and suppliers.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Issuing invoices, tracking incoming payments, and following up on overdue customer accounts.
- Payroll Processing: Calculating, preparing, and distributing employee pay and handling payroll taxes.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets.
- Tax Preparation Support: Assisting with tax returns, compliance, and submitting government tax remittances.
- Maintaining the General Ledger: Keeping the main, comprehensive record of all company financial accounts.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitoring and recording cash inflows and outflows.
