Ten years ago, Half Hitch Brewing Co. opened its doors in Cochrane. This June, something new opens upstairs.
The Loft is a craft cocktail lounge built above the brewery - adults only, designed with intention, and built for Cochrane to call its own. The kind of place that feels like you've walked into someone's home. Warm, unhurried, alive with good conversation. Nights you don't want to leave.
What we're looking for

2+ years of experience in cocktail / mixology

Formal bartending or spirits certification preferred (WSET, BarSmarts, or similar)

Strong knowledge of classic techniques, spirits, and flavour profiles

Genuine excitement for being part of something new

Must be available Thursday through Sunday
The role
You'll be part of a small, tight team opening a space where the menu is seasonal, the approach is intentional, and the guests come because they actually care about what's in their glass.
We'll be building the cocktail program together. You'll have real input. Whether that means riffing on a Negroni or introducing guests to something they've never tasted, this is a place to grow, not just execute.
