Experienced Flat Roofer with a Valid Driver's Licence
Wage is based on experience and ranges from $26 to $40 an hour.
Experience in Service and or Production is an asset.
Safety tickets, especially Working at Heights is an asset, but the successful applicant will be provided paid training for Working at Heights if they do not have a current valid ticket. All other safety training will be paid as well when the necessary training is required.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action
- Install, repair, or replace roofs using EPDM, TPO, PVC, and SBS roofing materials
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific areas
- Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them
- Ensure that all work is completed according to safety guidelines and building codes
- Clean and maintain work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of different roofing materials and installation techniques in various roofing systems
- Ability to safely use tools and equipment required for roofing projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and address roofing issues
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and precise installation
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and perform lifts of up to 100lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
