Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer / consultant to join our team for Toronto Location Position : Senior Guidewire Developer Hybrid - Toronto Key
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and configure Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter)
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Customize Guidewire modules using Gosu scripting and Java
- Integrate Guidewire systems with external applications (APIs, web services)
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and production issues
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6/7+ years of experience in Guidewire development, with a focus on integrations.
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Guidewire Integration Framework
- Gosu programming
- SOAP/REST Web Services
- XML, XSD, JSON
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, JMS, MQ, etc.).
- Solid understanding of P&C Insurance domain.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud or on-prem implementations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
