Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team at Rapistan, Mississauga. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines with Mazatrol controls. Your proactive approach will help ensure consistent quality, safety, and efficiency across production processes.
Here’s what you’ll deliver:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines
- Select appropriate tools and fixtures, and perform tool wear offsets
- Safely load and unload tools and raw materials into CNC machines
- Set and adjust speeds and feeds as required
- Verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move components
- Understand, interpret, and edit Weiler and Mazatrol programs
- Identify and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of CNC equipment
- Follow ISO standards and adhere to all safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with quality policies, specifications, and regulations
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Compensation: $22.00 - CA$29.00 per hour
