Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to keep all areas tidy and sanitary
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to uphold health standards
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning procedures
- Assist with deep cleaning projects such as carpet shampooing or window washing as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in commercial environments
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is a plus
